Alfred Hitchcock Kimdir?

Alfred Joseph Hitchcock (13 Ağustos 1899 – 29 Nisan 1980), Birleşik Krallık doğumlu Amerikalı gerilim filmleri yönetmeni. Londra’da dünyaya gelen ve mühendislik eğitimi gören Hitchcock; Psycho, North by Northwest, Vertigo, Rear Window ve The Birds gibi klasikleşmiş filmleriyle tanınır. Tüm zamanların en iyi yönetmenlerinden biri olarak kabul edilir. Gerilim ve cinayet filmleri ustasının 70’e yakın filmi mevcuttur.

Beş kayıp Hitchcock filmi 

Alfred Hitchcock’un 1948 ve 1958 yıları arasında çektiği beş filmi telif hakları ile ilgili sorunlar yüzünden onlarca sene seyirci ile tekrar buluşamadı. Yıllar sonra Hitchcock bu filmlerin telif haklarını tekrar üzerine aldı ve 1980’deki ölümünden sonra da miras yoluyla bu haklar kızı Patricia Hitchcock’a geçti. 30 yıllık bir aradan sonra ancak 1984 yılında tekrar ortaya çıkan ve gösterime sunulan bu filmler “5 kayıp Hitchcock filmi” olarak anılırlar.
